OpTuPos calculates the optimal insertion depth for orotracheal tubes in preterm and newborn infants.

Input parameters

• Weight (g) – body weight in grams
• Post menstrual age (weeks) – completed weeks
• Post menstrual age (days) – additional days
• Head circumference (cm)
• Body length (cm)
• Nasalseptum–tragus distance (cm)
• Tragus–xiphoid distance (cm)

Calculation

A separate formula is applied for each entered parameter. The recommendation is based on the parameter with the highest statistical explanatory value (power). At least one parameter must be entered.
